Let’s get you Started

Every project we work on is unique but our approach is always the same. Why? Because it works. We’ve got processes in place to make sure you get exactly the results you want!

1.

INITIAL CONTACT

When you first contact us, we will gather basic information from you including contact info, what kind of work you are interested in, timeline, and discuss your anticipated budget for the project.

While most Landscape Companies need to schedule an onsite visit to provide you with a quote. Milton Stone Group provides you with an instant estimate within hours of contacting us. We understand that your time is valuable which is why we have a system in place that saves time, money, and gets you one step closer to your dream landscape.

In addition to calling, you can request a quote by e-mail to info@miltonstone.ca or complete our online contact form and one of our specialists will contact you within 24 business hours.

2.

MEETING

If after discussing your specific needs it was decided to proceed with the project, we then schedule an onsite meeting.

During this meeting, we will:

⦁ Listen to your objectives in order to understand your landscape dreams.
⦁ Walk the property with you, taking notes and listening.
⦁ Ask questions to help bring your ideas into better focus.
⦁ Discuss whether our design services are appropriate or proceed directly to a contract of installation for the work discussed.

3.

DESIGN

If we’ve determined that a landscape design is necessary, a payment will be required (landscape design fees start at $2,000). We’ll present you with a description of all of the landscape and hardscape elements we’re planning to include in your project and begin the design phase.

4.

AGREEMENT

Once you have approved either our design for your project or an existing design you already had, a contract will be prepared for the installation of your new landscape.
Once we have received your signed contract and deposit, our production team will schedule your project, obtain any necessary permits, and order all of the materials we’ll need.

If during the course of the construction you wish to add to or modify the plan. The designer will promptly assess the change and, if needed, put together a change order showing any changes in pricing.

5.

CONSTRUCTION

Before we begin work, our team will conduct a detailed preconstruction meeting on your site, as required, including the designer and production manager who will be involved in your project. This preconstruction meeting will help ensure the entire construction process runs smoothly and efficiently from start to completion.

We then commence work on your project, as we’ve laid out in our scheduling. While we’re installing your new landscape project, our friendly, uniformed installation professionals will show the utmost respect for your home, your property, and your neighbours. We always arrive to perform the day’s work as efficiently and quietly as possible and leave your property looking clean and organized for the next day’s work.

When we have completed all the work on your project, we perform a final walk-through with you on-site. At this time, we will present you with a closing package, which includes a copy of your final plans and your contract, detailed care guidelines, warranty information, product information, and any other important information specific to your project.
